How to request a quote for my move?

To request a quote, the costumer must contact the company, who for the issuance of a budget will firstly send a specialized executive to take the estimated load displacement. He will also analyze in detail the equipment and fragile goods. With this information we are able to provide you with a quote.

What is the timeframe in which my household goods will arrive to the destination country I am moving to?

Depends on the transit time from the origin country to the destination and the customs process in each country. This information can be send with the quotation, that is free of charge.

What objects can be sent in an international move?

All household and personal goods owned, such as appliances, furniture, cloths, books, shoes. On the whole, all personal goods which prove to be of use to the consignee (owner of the cargo). When transporting paintings, antiquities, replicas, or alleged national heritage, they shall go through a previous inspection by the National Culture Institute and present the documentation authorizing departure.

What does our moving service include?

Our service includes packing, pickup, transportation by sea or air, delivery and unpacking at the destination. It also includes the assignment of a specialized coordinator responsible for guiding and advising you throughout the entire moving process.

What type of service do we offer?

Local moving, national moving, international moving, pet transportation, office relocation.

How much time should I organize my move?

For international moves, we recommend doing it with 2 months in advance as more procedures and documentation are required. For local moves, we recommend 1 week in advance.

What items are prohibited in a move?

Dangerous goods cannot be sent in an international move in any quantity. This includes explosives, flammable liquids, solvents, adhesives, colognes, chemicals, toxic substances, pesticides, as well as radioactive materials, corrosives, narcotics, weapons, money, and perishable goods.

Is the quote free and non-binding?

Yes, the quote is free, and you are not obligated to anything. The quote is also detailed, and we provide it in writing (email). All inclusions and exclusions will be perfectly detailed so that the final price is clear.

My pet is travelling with me. What procedures need to be done so I can get it out of the country?

Our recommendation would be to send your pet as “accompanied baggage”, thus avoid the payment of importation duties in the country of destination. Also we recommend checking the requirements for bringing pets in the destination country, to avoid inconveniences such as delays and fines.

How is the artwork and fragile items packed?

To pack such items we use bubble wrap, mat paper, corrugated cardboard, and if necessary, it is further protected with a wooden box made especially for the piece.

What is a shared or grouped move?

A shared or grouped move is the consolidation of cargo of two or more consignees. These are the cargo that go in the same container, have the same destination port, but the shipped goods belong to different owners. Generally this system is used to reduce costs.

How long does it take to pack your move?

The time depends on the volume that will be transported. We pack between 10m3 to 15m3 per day.

What can't be sent in an international move?

There are regulations and restrictions specific to each country regarding maritime transportation. In an international move, goods for commercial purposes or new goods without use cannot be sent.

Can I include medications in the move?

We recommend never carrying medications in the move. In many countries, it is prohibited to import medications as part of the move, or it is mandatory to show medical prescriptions. To avoid problems, we do not accept medications as part of an international move.

Can I bring alcohol/wine in a move?

For most countries, there are restrictions or it is prohibited. In other countries (e.g. Canada, Australia, or Singapore), declaring the alcohol allows you to bring it. However, import duties on alcohol would need to be paid.

Can I pack my move myself?

Part of our service is to pack all your belongings in the best way and with the best materials to ensure their protection, so you don't have to worry about packing your belongings.

What travelers are exempt from tax payments?

  • Peruvian that applies to the “Peruvian returning law”
  • Peruvian diplomats
  • Foreign Officials of International Organizations
  • Officials of diplomatic missions
  • Members of the Air Force in Official Missions

How long does the customs process last for an import?

The customs process usually takes between 10 to 15 business days approximately.

Do I have to go to the customs when my move arrives at the port of callao?

No, we take care of the entire customs process until we deliver your move to your home or the address you indicate.

What requirements do I have to meet to apply to the peruvian law on return?

If you have lived outside the country for 3 years and have not used the previous law, you can take advantage of this benefit and be exempted from taxes for your import.

Will my container be opened once it is in the customs process

Yes, all containers are opened and undergo inspection. The only containers that will not be opened are those belonging to foreign diplomats
